Print Guidelines

We’re here to help you create high-quality artwork, though not all files are created equal! This guide will tell you how to set art files that will translate to great prints with no surprises. If we notice anything unusual in your file— as blurriness pixelated images, missing text, etc.—we’ll let you know and help you make it perfect!

Please outline or rasterize any and all type, text, fonts, etc. Alternatively, you may provide us with the font file when collecting your files for delivery
If you have images in your file, you must make sure to embed them prior to saving for print
Vector logos are always preferred. Logos saved in a raster format will have limited scalability
We use CMYK color values when printing. Please avoid sending files with different color profiles [RGB, LAB, Greyscale, etc.] as this will result in unexpected colors when printed
Use the Pantone matching system (PMS) whenever possible in order to achieve the best color matching with your file. Color is device dependent, and the same PMS color will look different depending on what printer and media is used. Please note that we use a 6-color process, and some PMS colors are impossible to match
Print files should be supplied at full scale and proportional to the desired output
Please do not send art that is smaller than 1:10 desired scale
Please provide files at 150 dpi or 300 dpi for best results

PLEASE NOTE: If our design team is required to make any adjustments to your files other than re-sizing and basic prep, you could be subject to a design fee

Acceptable Media Files

Vector files such as .svg, .eps, and .ai are generally the standard of the digital printing industry, especially for large format printing due to their scalability.

F.A.q.

What kind of art files are acceptable for print?

Vector files such as .svg .pdf. or .ai are best. Image files set to at least 150dpi at the desired scale are also excellent. For more, check out our Digital Print Guideline prior to submitting!

How soon can a surface be wrapped after being painted?

We recommend at least two weeks after application before applying vinyl wrap material. Failing to wait at least two weeks will cause undesired results such as bubbling.

Does CMYK print T-Shirts?

No, we are not currently equipped for silk-screen prints or embroidery.

How do I send files that are too big to Email?

We suggest using services such as DropBox, WeTransfer, HighTail, or Google Drive. Avoid compressing files within the Email as this can degrade file quality. You can also submit large art files HERE.

What's a typical turnaround time?, How can I get my prints ASAP?

Standard turnaround time is 3-5 business days, although this is entirely contingent on the size and scope of the project. For a nominal Rush Fee, we can offer 24-hour turnaround and same-day shipping.
